Do you drive her often, what colour.. any chance of a photo on the blog sometime? I love the semaphore arms of old cars too, it reminds me of the time my father used to drive us around and I can remember how, when we came to junctions with a policeman on point duty, he used different hand positions to indicate which way he was going. The better, happier days of motoring I think, the 50s and possibly 60s.pinkfairygranhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09497901949136714254noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-876862148358784705.post-10573758317475909582009-08-04T10:32:34.639+01:002009-08-04T10:32:34.639+01:00PM - yes I have looked at Caravelle's but they...PM - yes I have looked at Caravelle's but they are almost too big

PFG - let me tell you a secret. On other days, when the mood and Status Quo/ZZ Top takes me, I want speed.... a friends' Ferrari or BMW suits then. But in the main, like 99% of the time, I am happy so long as the car is quiet, economical, not too detrimental to the environment, and gets me, every time, from A to B, passes its MOT without too much hassle and cash being spent. For my husband, his days of happily getting oily and tinkering under a bonnet, have gone. And so the 12 year old Clio we have had since she was three, and which fits the above criteria, suits us both fine.pinkfairygranhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09497901949136714254noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-876862148358784705.post-60846945314892576812009-08-03T19:00:20.371+01:002009-08-03T19:00:20.371+01:00I worry about people carriers with seats in the ve...I worry about people carriers with seats in the very back - what happens if some twit runs into the back of you? I need a Land Rover Discovery. I keep telling Mr PM this, but he's gone deaf. I think you need a VW Caravelle. A friend of mine has one. It's so huge in the back, they've just laid lino for the floor (they have boys...)Maggie Christiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16047691937064748860noreply@blogger.com
