What is the name of that rainbow effect you see in clouds on sunny cold days? We were out and about, the sky was blue the sun really really bright. There were clouds, and one particular formation looked just like a quill pen, and in amongst the feathers were these bands of bright colours, as in a rainbow almost. Now I had seen a photograph of this phenomena on our local news a few weeks ago, and of course can't remember what it's called. Has it something to do with cold air, crystals, sunshine, refraction.... or what?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-876862148358784705.post-45677991876490219502010-12-11T09:29:26.278+00:002010-12-11T09:29:26.278+00:00Great post!Great post!Susannah Andersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11923063322849781223noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-876862148358784705.post-33272842539127457392010-12-10T23:06:45.882+00:002010-12-10T23:06:45.882+00:00This is a comment on your last post about thinking...This is a comment on your last post about thinking. I also think in the car and when walking and sometimes go to bed just to think and relish the thought (sorry!). In fact I never stop thinking and am also often writing in my head and in the middle of the night it can be annoying as I would love to write the words down. I wonder if you do this too? I loved your philosophical post and think I shall read it again.

Intuition?
